Perched on a hill and surrounded by woodland, Farrs Meadow looks out across the Stour Valley. The site is a few minutes walk by footpath to the River Stour where campers can swim and fish. The pretty Vine pub, in the thatched hamlet of Pamphill, is a short stroll across the fields and it is only a 15-minute walk to Wimborne Town centre, with all its facilities and visitor attractions.

The Meadow is largely ‘tents-only’ to preserve the experience of being close to nature in a secluded and peaceful setting. We do also have three fully furnished yurts and our unique ‘Old Stable‘ some comfort for those who don’t want to put a tent up!

Or why not come and stay in our one of our Gypsy Wagons or Shepherds Huts. Hand built in Dorset, they’re the ultimate romantic getaway (although there is also room for two kids!) Book now...

If you don’t want to haul your tent up the hill to the Meadow when you arrive, then we will get all your gear up for you.

Farrs Meadow features eco loos and hot showers housed in upcycled horse boxes, apparently these alone are worth the visit here. Who knew having a shower could be so much fun!

The campsite also lies on the National Cycle Network, Route 25. A selection of great routes can be followed by those wishing to explore the area by bicycle.

Course fishing can be arranged on the River Stour, on the private bank of Deans Court Estate.
